“Mundi has enjoyed 3 successful tours of Spain, thanks to the wonderful people at Perform in Spain. We are a sextet  from Austin, Texas and the foundation of our sound is the medieval music of Spain. Our dream was to come to Spain  and perform this music from 800 years ago in the churches and cathedrals from that distant time that were still standing. Perform in Spain made our dreams come true.  Each tour was carefully crafted by Josu and his team, and every detail  attended to. Highlights included a performance in front of thousands at the Festival Internacional de Música y Danza  de Granada, an expedition to Morocco, and several shows in Leon, and on the pilgrim path to Santiago de Compostela.  Throughout our tours we had a knowledgeable and fun guide/scholar with us, and our shows were publicized, and well-attended.  To give you a flavor of our 2013 tour, here is a 30-minute film” Darrel Mayers, Director-Mundi Ensemble, Austin, Tx.

Orchestra Tours in Spain

Custom performance tours and  festivals in Spain since 1995

Thinking on touring with your orchestra in Spain ? We had been working closely with youth orchestras organizing  concert tours in Spain and Portugal  for many years. Spain has a  rich music tradition and your orchestra could travel easily between cities all year round. Amateur young choirs can perform in local conservatories,  schools and auditoriums and semi professional orchestras will be invited to play in  beautiful concert halls and theatres during the winter-spring season. During the months of June, July and August, concerts are mostly outdoor  and  are part of  summer music festivals all over  the Iberian peninsula that we partner with.

Big percussion instruments are available or can be borrow sometimes if concerts are in conservatories or music schools. But in general we sue to hire all the percussion and technical equipment your orchestra might need to tour, including instrumental trucks.

Besides all the travel arrangements that we can provide  as travel agents  to your group   such as accommodation, transportation, meals ;  we  also provide your group  with all the artistic arrangements you need for a successful tour in  Spain , from  the best  selection of venues available to different encounters with other  orchestras and musicians ( including if you wish some exchange concerts , master classes or clinics ) to participate at some of the most prestige international music festivals in the country or to participate in some of our own ones.

We do partner  with  music festivals, and youth symphony festivals in Spain since over two decades. We did organized concerts for high school orchestras, university /college orchestras, city youth orchestras, national youth orchestras or adult community orchestras.
